Summary
Refund or replacement will be provided if the goods are found to be defective or faulty. If the item is faulty, return shipping will be covered. H2O Audio – Limited One Year Warranty (Australia)
Finnovate Group, LLC d/b/a H2O Audio (“H2O Audio”) acquired the H2O Audio brand from X-1 Audio, Inc. and warrants H2O Audio-branded products sold after 19 September 2015 in their original H2O Audio packaging (collectively, the “H2O Products”).
Manufacturer’s Warranty
H2O Products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original end user (the “Warranty Period”).
If a defect arises during the Warranty Period and you notify H2O Audio and return the defective product, H2O Audio will, at its option:
-
Repair the product at no cost;
-
Replace the product with a new or equivalent product; or
-
Refund the purchase price of the product.
If you receive replacement H2O Products, the warranty period for the replacement will be the longer of:
-
ninety (90) days from the replacement date; or
-
the remainder of the original Warranty Period.
Any product replaced or refunded becomes the property of H2O Audio.
Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty is provided in addition to your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
-
damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, modification, or unauthorised repair;
-
cosmetic wear and tear; or
-
use not in accordance with the product instructions.
Obtaining Warranty Service
To make a warranty claim, please contact H2O Audio at hello@h2oaudio.com.au to obtain a Return Authorisation Number (RAN).
Returned products must be:
-
carefully packaged to avoid damage during shipping;
-
accompanied by proof of purchase; and
-
labelled with the Return Authorisation Number.
If H2O Audio determines that the product is defective within the Warranty Period, we will repair, replace, or refund the product at no cost to you. Return shipping for repaired or replacement goods will be covered by H2O Audio.
If H2O Audio determines that the product is not defective or not covered by this warranty, you may be responsible for return freight costs.
Returns (Change of Mind)
If you change your mind about your purchase, you may return the product within 30 days of the date of purchase, subject to the following:

The product must be returned in its original packaging and condition.

A 15% restocking fee may apply for opened or damaged packages.

Freight costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Change-of-mind returns are separate from your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and this limited warranty.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any right, remedy, or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
To the extent permitted by law, H2O Audio’s liability for any defect or breach of warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price, as described above.
